General information
The Southern Black Sea coast is one of Bulgaria’s classic summer regions, combining beach holidays, historic towns, family resorts and easier access from Burgas.
Trips and nature
The coast mixes long beaches, bays, wetlands, dunes and low hills. Around Burgas, lakes and bird areas add nature beyond the beach.
Food and atmosphere
Nessebar and Sozopol preserve ancient, Byzantine and maritime layers, while Burgas gives the region a practical urban base.
Transport and stay
Burgas has an airport and good seasonal connections. A car helps for smaller beaches, villages and quieter coastal stops.
