Zona Zero Aínsa MTB

Zona Zero is not a fenced lift bike park, but a broad trail area around Aínsa in Aragonese Sobrarbe. Its strength is a network of restored old paths linking villages, dry ridges, pine woods and views towards Monte Perdido. Riding here feels more like a mountain journey than a resort session: you navigate, read the ground and pay attention to weather and distance.

Aínsa is the natural base. You can start from town in the morning or take a short transfer into one of the surrounding valleys, then return to the historic centre for food and bike service. Routes vary widely in length and technical level; some are flowing and scenic, others bring sharp rock, loose gravel, tight turns and short steep climbs.

The area suits enduro riders and experienced touring mountain bikers who want real terrain. Less experienced visitors should choose easier loops, ride with a margin and avoid assuming that every exit is a simple road roll home. In summer, heat, water and remoteness matter.

Zona Zero is at its best outside the harshest midday heat. Morning and late afternoon give softer light and more readable stone trails. Respect signs, closures and shared use with walkers and local people. The network exists because of long local work, so considerate riding is part of the experience.
