Katzenkopf above Leutasch is a compact, easy-to-read bike park for families, new trail riders and groups that prefer short repeatable laps to a huge alpine day. The start area sits by Katzenkopfhütte, three signed trails lead down the hill, and the pump track at the valley station is useful for warm-ups and kids.
Green Pangea is a short green line for first trail-bike steps, Kitty Twister adds longer flow and berms, while Dirty Dancer asks for confidence with speed, jumps and rougher natural sections. It is not a massive vertical-drop destination, but it is excellent for technique and gradual progression.
Logistics are simple: the chairlift carries bikes, the valley shop rents bikes and protective gear, and access from Seefeld or Innsbruck is straightforward. A day can mix lift laps, pump-track time, views and a hut break without becoming complicated.
Check weather and official trail status before riding. The operator asks riders not to use the trails in rain, to respect closures and to expect end-of-day checks. Full-face helmets and proper protection are sensible on the red trail.
