Karst, Postojna, Škocjan and Idrija are Slovenia’s cave and limestone region, full of underground landscapes, stone villages, castles and unusual industrial heritage.

The karst landscape is shaped by caves, sinkholes, dry valleys, limestone plateaus and underground rivers. Škocjan and Postojna are the major natural highlights.
