General information

Brno and South Moravia are Czechia’s warm, social and wine-oriented region, combining a lively second city, vineyards, castles, caves and sunny village landscapes.

Trips and nature

Pálava, the Moravian Karst, vineyards, rivers and low hills give the region great variety. It is one of the best Czech regions for cycling and wine-country trips.

Food and atmosphere

Brno has modernist architecture, cafés, student life and underground sights. Mikulov and Lednice-Valtice add aristocratic, Jewish and wine traditions.

Transport and stay

Brno is well connected by train. A car or bike helps for vineyards, Pálava, villages and smaller castles.
