Cappadocia and Central Anatolia are a world of rock formations, underground cities, balloons, steppes and spiritual and historical places.
Trips and nature
Cappadocia is unique for its soft volcanic rock, fairy chimneys and valleys. Central Anatolia is dry, continental and cold in winter. Spring and autumn are best.
Food and atmosphere
Cappadocia is linked to early Christianity, cave churches and underground settlements. Konya is connected with Sufi tradition and Rumi, while Ankara represents the modern republic.
