Les Menuires works well for summer riding because of its altitude. The resort sits around 1,850 metres in the Belleville valley, so the day starts directly in mountain terrain and the trails quickly run through meadows, rocky steps and open Vanoise views. Check the operating lifts and trail status in the morning, warm up on smoother lines above La Croisette or Les Bruyères, then build towards longer descents towards Saint-Martin-de-Belleville or the higher sectors. The vertical is real, so even a route that looks modest on the map can take effort.

Families and less experienced bikers can stay closer to the resort and use wider tracks, while stronger riders can link longer gravity and enduro loops. After rain the surface changes quickly: shaded sections can stay damp, while open slopes dry faster.

Shops, rental options and food stops are grouped around the main quarters, making it easy to split the day into a morning ride, a break and a second session.
