Eurocamp Barbora: a lakeside campsite with tent pitches, caravan spaces and cabins

Who it suits

Eurocamp Barbora is a good choice if you want to stay right by the water. The campsite sits directly by Lake Barbora in Oldřichov near Jeníkov, so getting to the beach is delightfully simple.

It suits caravan travellers, motorhome users, a limited number of tent campers and families looking for a cabin without a huge resort atmosphere. The site lists 46 caravan and motorhome pitches, 8 tent pitches and 5 family cabins.

Accommodation

Caravan and motorhome pitches are about 55–80 m² and include access to electricity. One car can stay by the pitch, while additional cars use the campsite car park.

Tent pitches do not have electric hookups, so plan accordingly if you travel with a cooler, chargers or other gear. The family cabins do not have private bathrooms, but include basic cooking equipment such as a fridge, kettle, induction hob and basic dishes.

Prices

Prices depend on accommodation type and occupancy. The displayed price list shows caravan, motorhome or van stays from CZK 570 for one person to CZK 1,140 for seven people per night. Tent or car-sleeping pitches cost CZK 380–950 per night depending on occupancy. The family cabin is listed at CZK 1,900 per night.

Extra charges may apply for a dog, second car, motorbike or a dog in a cabin. Paddleboard and beach volleyball are paid separately.

Beaches, dogs and swimming

Guests have free access to both beaches. The campsite lists the main beach as dog-free and the dog beach on the left shore. A dog in a tent, caravan or motorhome is listed as free, while a dog in a cabin is charged.

Barbora is officially monitored for bathing water quality by the regional public health authority. Always check the latest result before swimming.

Facilities

Showers and sanitary facilities are included for guests. The Yacht Club provides reception and refreshments, and there are additional food options by the beach. Wi-Fi is available for guests at lower speed.

Fire is allowed only in raised metal fire pits. In cabins, open fire and smoking are forbidden.

Getting there

By car, head to Oldřichov 31, 417 24 Jeníkov. Public transport is possible via Teplice, Duchcov or Oldřichov u Duchcova, but check current connections before travelling.

Watch out

Capacity is limited, especially for tents and cabins. Tent pitches do not have electricity. And before swimming, check the current water-quality rating.
