Camping Olšina is a good choice if you want Lake Lipno without the busiest resort feel. It lies near Černá v Pošumaví directly on the reservoir shore, in a terraced site with trees and its own beach.
It suits families, caravan travellers, tent campers, anglers, cyclists and travellers looking for a base for Šumava trips. The campsite is focused on quiet family holidays and is not meant for noisy groups or parties.
Accommodation
There are more than 180 camping pitches, around 150 of them with electric hookups. Some spots are near the Lipno shore with water views, others are shaded or sunnier.
Besides tents and caravans, the campsite offers small cabins for 4 people, large cabins for 6 people and mobile homes. Small cabins use shared sanitary facilities, while large cabins and mobile homes have a kitchenette and private bathroom.
Prices and season
The price list distinguishes 25 April–26 June, high season 27 June–28 August and 29 August–4 October. In high season, a person aged 14+ costs CZK 150/night, child 2–14 CZK 120, small tent CZK 140, large tent CZK 200, car CZK 150, caravan CZK 200 and motorhome CZK 350.
Cabins and mobile homes are rented by the week from Saturday 14:00 to Saturday 10:00. In high season, the large 6-person cabin costs CZK 16,100/week, the small 4-person cabin CZK 8,400/week, the 4-person mobile home CZK 19,600/week and the 6-person mobile home CZK 23,100/week.
Facilities
The campsite has a grocery shop, restaurant, sports area, boat and bike rental, sanitary facilities, laundry, chemical toilet disposal and Wi-Fi. Quiet hours are 23:00–7:00 and the site has a night guard.
Beach and trips
Olšina has its own Lipno beach, making swimming the main reason to stay. Nearby trip options include Český Krumlov, the Lipno treetop walkway, Schwarzenberg Canal, Plešné Lake, Lipno nad Vltavou and Vyšší Brod.

Watch out
Tent pitches in the tent area are not reserved. For large cabins and mobile homes, a refundable CZK 1,000 deposit is paid on arrival. Dogs are not allowed in mobile homes.
