Who it suits
Autocamp Osek is a good choice if you want a quieter campsite below the Ore Mountains without being completely away from town life. It sits in Osek near Teplice, close to a natural swimming pool, Restaurant Horal and routes leading into the hills.
It suits families, caravan travellers, tent campers, motorcyclists and guests looking for fixed accommodation in a cabin or bungalow. Compared with a campsite directly by Lake Barbora, it works more as a base for trips than as a pure beach campsite.
Accommodation
The campsite offers cabins for 4 to 5 people, bungalows for up to 6 people and around 50 caravan and tent spots with electric hookups. The bungalows are the most comfortable option because they have a private bathroom and kitchenette.
Cabins are simpler but practical. Some extra equipment can be rented for cabins, such as an electric heater, kettle, microwave, two-ring cooker or fan.
Caravans and tents
The official website says caravan and tent pitches are not reserved. You can arrive without previous reservation, but in peak summer it is sensible to check current occupancy before travelling.
Caravan pitches have electric hookups and the maximum length for a motorhome or caravan is listed as 9 metres.
Facilities and swimming
The campsite has a central fire pit with grilling, a volleyball court, table tennis and play elements for children. A natural swimming pool is right next to the campsite and opens seasonally depending on water quality.
Restaurant Horal is also very close, which is useful if you do not want to cook every evening.
Booking and rules
Check-in is from 14:00. Cabins and bungalows must be vacated by 10:00, tents and caravans by 11:00. Reception operates in the April–October period.
Quiet hours are 22:00–7:00. Vehicle speed inside the campsite is limited to 20 km/h and fires are allowed only in designated places.
Prices
Current accommodation prices vary by type, date and availability. It is best to check them directly in the booking system or with reception.
Fixed listed items include a refundable CZK 1,000 bungalow deposit and a CZK 70 pet fee for accommodation units. Cabin and own-tent bookings use a 50% deposit according to the operating rules.
Nearby trips
Osek Monastery is the easiest cultural target nearby. More active days can head to Rýzmburk castle ruins, the forests above Osek or Dlouhá Louka. Lake Barbora is also reachable by car or bike.
Watch out
This is a quieter trip-base campsite rather than a large entertainment resort. Check water quality before swimming, and remember that caravan and tent pitches are not reserved.
